It all began in 2015 when Maggie, the puppy, chewed a bling flip flop that had travelled half way around the world from NYC to Johannesburg.  With a desire to create an every day casual sandal, Rhino Flops was born. The idea was never to invent a new flip flop but to design one that we ourselves would wear. 

Safari trips to the African veldt inspired our initial designs, and our passion for keeping wild animals safe and free from poachers made the “rhino” our natural namesake.

In the beginning it was all about our unique graphics, but as we slowly grew the collection, we added more products and new designs.

Today Rhino Flops is now a part of the collection we call JANE.

JANE is a full range fashion brand of comfort sandals, vegan sandals, espadrilles, sneakers and handbags. We offer a full range of development services to help customize your product offerings. There is no limit to what we can design.
